Former Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy has said that it is his dream to implement the Pancharatna schemes in the state. He said that people should bless him to form the government with absolute majority.
He was addressing a rally in Shahapur to seek votes for Janata Dal (S) candidate Guru Patil, who is contesting from Shahapur constituency.
Mr. Kumaraswamy said: “I intend to do development work in all sectors and empower women. Pancharatna Yojana is the solution to the problems of the people. After coming to power, it is my dream to implement the schemes as soon as possible.
He said that the BJP government has failed to provide good governance to the people.
“People are fed up with the hike in prices of essential commodities, fertilizers, petrol and diesel. However, the central government has done nothing to address these issues.”
He attacked both Congress and BJP candidates Sharanbasappa Darshanpur and Aminarddi Patil Yalagi, saying they were earlier in the Janata Dal (S) and had left the party. “Mr. Yalagi left us though he was given party ticket to contest the last election. You have to vote against both these candidates and bless Guru Patil this time.
Mr. Kumaraswamy said that getting taluk status for Kembhavi town is the dream of the people. “Previous governments have not addressed this long pending demand. If my government comes to power, I will declare Kembhavi as a new taluk.”
Shri Guru Patil and others were present.
