He said that it takes more than 30 minutes to walk 1.5 km, which can easily be brought down to 10 minutes once the road is built.
He said that Champai Soren had once raised the issue in the assembly but nothing came of it.
The panchayat chief said that the villagers have made up their mind that if no action is taken in this regard soon, they will intensify their agitation and boycott all the upcoming elections, including the panchayat elections.
