Rajkot: The Jamnagar The B Division police have registered a case against three loan sharks for allegedly harassing the family of a transporter for the last two years. on the basis of a complaint filed by Suman Rajputpolice booked Anirudh Jadji, Mayuri and an unknown person.
According to the case Suman’s husband Jai Prakash: runs a transport company and had borrowed Rs 3 lakh from the accused in November 2017 at 5% interest. He kept on paying the monthly installment of Rs 15,000. In 2019, he again borrowed Rs.1.25 at 15% interest and for that he was paying an installment of Rs.5,250 every week.
In 2020, the accused told Jaiprakash that he owed Rs 5.37 lakh for a loan account of Rs 3 lakh in 2017 and Rs 1.74 lakh for a loan amount of Rs 1.25 lakh in 2019. When Jayaprakash could not pay the amount, he was threatened with death in a road accident.
