Janhvi posted a childhood picture in which the mother-daughter duo can be seen sharing an adorable moment. In the caption, Janhvi mentioned how much she misses her mother and hopes to make her proud. She also mentioned that she is the driving force behind her achievements.

“I’ve still spent more time in my life without you than I have been with you. But I hate that another year has been added to life without you. I hope we make you proud mom, because that’s the only thing that keeps us going.” Keeps going. Love you forever,” she captioned the post on Instagram.

Similarly, Janhvi’s sister, Khushi Kapoor took to her Instagram Stories to share a picture with her mother. However, Khushi decided not to write anything with it.

Sridevi died at the age of 54 on February 24, 2018 due to accidental drowning in a bathtub at a Dubai hotel where she had gone for a family wedding.

Sridevi tied the knot with producer Boney Kapoor in 1996 and the couple was blessed with daughters – Janhvi and Khushi. Born as Sri Amma Yanger Ayyapan in 1963, she started her career at the age of four in the devotional film “Thunaivan”. Sridevi worked in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi films. She was known for her iconic roles in Hindi films like ‘Chandni’, ‘Lamhe’, ‘Mr India’, ‘Chalbaaz’, ‘Nagina’, ‘Sadma’ and ‘English Vinglish’. He was awarded the National Award and Padma Shri for his great contribution to the country’s art and cinema. Her last film was Mom, for which she received the National Award for Best Actress posthumously.

On the work front, coming back to Janhvi, the actress has a slew of projects lined up for her. She will next be seen in Siddharth Sengupta’s ‘Good Luck Jerry’, which is a remake of the Tamil film Kolamavu Kokila starring Nayanthara. His ‘Dostana 2’ is also in the pipeline. The film will also star debutante Lakshya.
