Jawa has launched the 42 Bobber which borrows its engine and most of its neo-retro design elements from the Perak while bringing in some visual, mechanical and electronic changes. These include reprofiled front fenders, low-slung seats, redesigned fuel tank and exhaust system. 42 Bobber is offered in three colors Mystic Copper (₹2.06 Lakh), Moonstone White (₹2.07 Lakh) and Jasper Red (₹2.09 Lakh).
The Jawa 42 Bobber is powered by the same liquid-cooled, 334cc single-cylinder engine as the Perak that makes 30.64hp and 32.64Nm of torque. The manufacturer claims that the suspension settings have been modified to provide better comfort to the rider and ABS calibration has also been worked out to provide better feel and responsiveness. The Jawa 42 Bobber gets LED lighting all around (its tail-lamps are different from the Perak’s) and a negative LCD display. Other highlights include a smaller luggage rack on the rear fenders and a new two-way adjustable seat.
