Under the umbrella of this MoU, a maximum of five scholars will be selected every academic year for the Chevening Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh Munda Scholarship.
Under the auspices of the scholarship, scholars will receive academic tuition fees including examination and thesis costs, a monthly stipend sufficient to cover the cost of living of an individual student, allowance package and return airfare of an approved route from the place of residence, the statement said. has gone.
The scholarship will be awarded to pursue a one-year master’s degree at selected and respected UK universities. Applicants must have 2 years of work experience, or equivalent, to be eligible. The Chevening Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh Munda Scholarship will commence in the UK academic year 2023-24 and will be in effect for a period of three years.
In September 2021, at the launch of the first Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh Munda Scholarship, Chief Minister Hemant Soren shared his vision to include scholars belonging to Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes and minority communities.
