SA20 League is fast climbing the popularity charts. Recruiting some of the best players in the world, the South African T20 league is churning out breathtaking action every day. Jimmy Neesham, who plays for the Pretoria Capitals in the league, took the cricketing world by surprise when he performed a one-handed feat in the match against the Durban Supergiants. Fielding at point, Neesham sees the ball coming a long distance to his left. The New Zealand all-rounder made a brilliant diving effort and completed the dismissal with one hand holding the ball.

Durban batsman Viaan Mulder could not believe his luck after seeing Neesham completing the catch. His response said it all. Here’s the video:

With this being the inaugural season of the SA20 league, Neesham said that the competition feels like the Indian Premier League. “Yeah, it’s been great. Obviously it’s a great tournament, the vibe has been amazing because of the whole thing, some pretty incredible crowds and some pretty incredible atmosphere. So, it’s been really enjoyable so far. We are only half way there so hopefully it will continue over the next few weeks,” he said in conversation with SA20.

“It almost feels a bit like IPL. Four overseas players and every team is obviously of really high quality and I’ve been really impressed with the quality of the local South African players as well.”

Neesham also spoke about how Pretoria Capitals deal with the pressure of games and how they deal with each result, saying, “I think you know as much as we can about the level, we know that What is the quality of the teams in this tournament” We are not going to go out and blow teams out of the park and win every game. So, we really weren’t too disappointed with yesterday’s performance. It’s been like really good innings from a couple of really high quality players and jos buttler And david miller And you know it happens sometimes in more installments but the quality of the players is higher so we haven’t completely changed the game. Just go again and be a little better than you were yesterday.
