Kashmiri TV actress Amreen Bhat was killed while her 10-year-old nephew was injured on Wednesday by unidentified terrorists in Chadoora area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Budgam.
Jammu and Kashmir Police said that the 10-year-old nephew of the TV actress was shot in the hand. Police said the nephew is undergoing treatment at a hospital in the district.
“Two people came to his house to call him to shoot. When she came out of the house, they killed her. What wrong had he done to anyone?” Bhatt’s brother-in-law Zubair Ahmed told ANI.
Meanwhile, the Jammu and Kashmir Police on Friday morning informed that two Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists involved in the killing of Amrin Bhat have been gunned down in Awantipora, Kashmir. (ANI)
