England broke their own record for the highest team tally in ODI history as they beat 498-4 in a 232-run victory on Friday.

“I think the biggest thing, no matter the score, is the mindset that we are showing as a team. We keep trying to improve it and as a team when we play get better. We know it puts us in a good position.”
Butler completed his century in just 47 balls, the second fastest in England’s history and a ball shy of his own record, earning praise from limited-overs captain Eoin Morgan.
“Jose played in his own world, like he had been in the past year or two,” Morgan said.
“It’s unbelievable to watch and not something we ever take ill or take lightly. It’s truly amazing cricket. That’s why he is the best white-ball cricketer in the world at the moment.”
