JSW Group partners with ElectricPe to develop EV charging infrastructure

New Delhi: Business group JSW Group has tied up with Electricpay to develop electric vehicle charging infrastructure across its office network.

It follows the introduction of green policy by jsw Recently to provide incentives to employees to buy electric vehicles and to provide charging infrastructure in their office and plant premises.

ElectricPe has already enabled the required charging infrastructure at JSW’s Mumbai headquarters. A company statement said the firm will soon expand its services to JSW offices in Vasind, Dolvi, Vijayanagar, Sholtu and Jharsuguda:

The partnership will fuel Electricpay’s vision of providing a seamless experience to EV users and JSW’s commitment to drive adoption of EVs, the statement said. Together, the two promote green mobility in the country and support India’s transition to a net-zero mission by 2070.

“JSW Group’s announced EV policy is a unique initiative to drive increased adoption of EVs, which will broaden our efforts and enable access to green mobility. For employees in corporate offices and plant locations through the tie-up with Electricpay. This will help in creating a seamless charging experience as they can now avail the quick charging facility of their electric vehicles within the premises while offering a superior EV riding experience,” said Dilip Patnaik, President & CHRO, JSW Group.

ElectricPe is a B2C EV charging and demand generation app that provides EV users with a one-stop platform to identify, access and pay for EV charging points to ease e-mobility.

“After three other partnership announcements, this association marks our first collaboration with a corporate organization. A forward-thinking company, JSW is the first corporate in India to offer an employee financial policy to promote clean mobility and we are thrilled to be a part of it. We believe this tie-up will help improve our network usage and ensure that we reach our target of enabling one lakh charging points in the country by the end of this year,” said Electricpay Co-founder and CEO Avinash Sharma said.
