New Delhi: Chief Justice of the High Court of Delhi Devendra Kumar Upadhyay concluded in his preliminary investigation that a huge stand is conducted at the residence of Nyaya Yashwant Verma in an alleged discovery of a huge Stash for cash, when the fire broke out.
In the documents that the Supreme Court has made public in an unprecedented step on its website, Justice Upadhyay rejected Justice Verma’s clarification that the store room, where the cash was allegedly found, is always unlocked and anyone can be accessed, indicating that money was kept by some outsider.
The report explains the entire sequence of incidents in connection with the alleged incident, as well as a video and photographs of burnt cash, and denying Justice Verma’s six-page response.
