Hyderabad: A major change in his efforts to forge a coalition of non-Congress and non-BJP parties, TRS President and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao He said on Wednesday that he is not in favor of forming any political front before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Instead, he said the country needed an alternative agenda on the lines of the TRS, which took birth to drive the state’s agitation.
Addressing the party’s 21st Foundation Day meeting here. KCR He said the Left parties had met him recently and suggested a united effort to oust the BJP at the Centre.
“I told him very clearly that removing or making PM was a bad idea. Ultimately, democracy must win.”

However, during his speech on Wednesday, he said the country urgently needed an alternative agenda. He also received suggestions to change the name of TRS to ‘Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi’ (BRS) (TRS is a regional party) into a national party. But he declined to say whether he was considering a name change.

He insisted, “I have seen an article in a newspaper by TRS MLA Gadri Kishor to convert TRS to BRS. Right now, the country needs a qualitative change and an alternative agenda, not a political restructuring.” “If Hyderabad becomes the turning point of the country, it will be a proud moment” Telangana people,” he said.
Making it clear that his TRS would play a vital role in formulating an alternative agenda and providing a new direction to the country, KCR said that the alternative force would soon emerge and create a political storm in the country.
During his 90-minute speech, KCR spoke on various issues but devoted a major part of his address to national issues and the need for an alternative agenda. He criticized the BJP government at the Center on communal hatred, rising incidents of backwardness, especially water and electricity issues, hijab and halal lines and said Telangana has become a role model for the entire country.
KCR said, “Many people are waiting for the announcement of my political front or any other front. The process adopted for Telangana also needs some process. What will happen in that process, only the future will decide.” ”
The TRS president said he has said ‘sorry’ to the Communist Party leaders who wanted a united effort to topple the BJP government at the Centre.
KCR recalled, “A few months back Communist Party leaders met me and called for a united fight by all parties to overthrow the NDA government. I told them it was a bad idea.” “It should not be our job as to who should be made the PM or any leader should be removed. People should win in a democracy,” he said.
KCR, who had visited various states and met chief ministers of Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal, said his attempt was not to build a front against any party.
“When I went to Jharkhand to meet my counterpart, a reporter asked me when I was going to launch an ‘anti-BJP’ front. I told him that there was a need for a ‘pro-people’ front, not an anti-an-anti-BJP front. Front. Front and any political front,” he said.
Hitting out at the BJP government over the communal violence and hijab controversy, KCR said these issues are not good for the country’s image.
He said, “Some elements are spreading communal madness in the country. Some people are even praising the person who killed Mahatma Gandhi. Even for taking out religious processions, people are carrying daggers and swords in the national capital. ”
He added: “We have seen what is happening in the neighboring state of Karnataka which is considered the ‘Silicon Valley of India’ where 3 million people work in the IT sector.” He also criticized films like ‘The Kashmir Files’ and ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ and said that some parties are trying to make political capital out of these films.
KCR said that investors will not come to the state if there is a law and order problem.
