Makkal Needhi Maiam president and actor Kamal Haasan has made a full recovery from ‘mild’ COVID-19 and he will be ‘fit’ to resume his routine soon, said one of the people treating him. the hospital said here on Wednesday.

“Hasan was treated for mild coronavirus and has made a full recovery, but has been advised to remain in isolation till December 3, 2021,” Sri Ramachandra Medical Center said in a press release. He will be fit to resume his regular work from 4th December 2021.”
On November 22, Haasan had said that he has tested positive for COVID-19 and was admitted to SRMC on the same day.
“I had a mild cough after returning from America. When I got tested, coronavirus infection was confirmed. I have isolated myself in the hospital. Everyone should remain vigilant realizing that the spread of COVID-19 has not faded,” Haasan had tweeted that day.
The 67-year-old actor-politician is also involved in film production and television shows.
