Kangana Ranaut to be the brand ambassador of UP’s One District One Product Program

bollywood actors Kangana Ranaut On Friday, met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at his official residence in Lucknow.

The state government said that Ranaut would be made the brand ambassador of the state’s One District One Product (ODOP) scheme.

She wrapped up the Moradabad schedule of her upcoming film Tejas and landed in Lucknow, she posted on Instagram. Sharing her excitement, Ranaut said that she was looking forward to meeting the UP CM.

“Completed the Moradabad schedule of #Tejas this morning and landed in Lucknow… All set to meet the Honorable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh… Shri Yogi Adityanath ji… Thanks @chettiaralbert @hairbyhaseena for helping me get ready… @rizwan .syed04 Thanks to my Manipuri designer friend @robertnaoremstudio for the help and special for this gorgeous weave (sic),” she wrote.

During the meeting, Ranaut lauded the work of the Yogi government in UP, while the CM invited him to Ayodhya for a darshan of the holy land.

Sharing a video on Instagram, Kangana said that Yogi Adityanath gifted Ranaut the count, which was used in the Bhumi Pujan of the Ram temple. “It’s a good omen,” the actor posted while announcing that he is making a film titled Ayodhya.

The actor wrote on Instagram, “I thank the Uttar Pradesh government for their cooperation in the shooting of our film (Tejas) and wish the honorable Chief Minister all the best in his upcoming elections.”

“I insisted that we had the ascetic king of Shri Ram Chandra of Uttar Pradesh and now we have Yogi Adityanath… May your rule continue Maharaj ji. He gifted me a coin which was used in Ram Janmabhoomi Pujan. Was used. What a memorable evening Maharajji, thank you.”

One District One Product is a flagship program of the Government of UP which aims to encourage indigenous and exclusive products and crafts which are possessed by each and every district of the state.

The government says that some products like Chikankari, Zari Zardozi, Black Salt Rice etc. are produced in the districts of Uttar Pradesh which are not found anywhere.
