Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena said on Tuesday that the recent Kanjhawala incident and Shraddha Walker murder case are showing the shortcomings of the police system on the ground. He asked the Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs) to improve it. Addressing the DCP conference at Delhi Police Headquarters, the Lt Governor raised several issues like bribery, strictness of police and controversy in investigation. He appealed to the police to take proactive steps to ensure security at all levels in view of the upcoming G-20 summit.
