IIT Kanpur in association with Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI), Lucknow launched a telemedicine platform-Health ATM on January 04 in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Speaking to ANI, Laxmidhar Behera, Department of Electrical Engineering said, “We will research smart personalized healthcare for residents of IIT Kanpur on a doctor-linked app. If successful, it can be expanded in Lucknow. IIT Kanpur Health will decide the areas for deployment of ATMs after successful trials at IIT Health Center in Kanpur.
