Bollywood star kids got a unique way to celebrate Independence Day. India celebrated its 75th I-Day on Monday. While flags were hoisted at homes of several Bollywood stars, Karan Johar and Kareena Kapoor revealed that their kids spent Independence Day bonding with their father.
Taking to Instagram, Karan shared a video in which he showed his twins Roohi and Yash singing Hum Honge Kaamyaab with flags in their hands. Dressed in the colors of the tricolour, the twins sang patriotic songs while Karan filmed them. Sharing the video, Karan wrote, “India’s future is in very stable hands – no one is there to value, maintain and execute freedom to the fullest extent like the present generation.”
“There is no one like the present generation to take the previous generations to an India that is brighter and higher than ever. After 75 years of independence, one knows that this is New India and they are New India… and you have to believe that it is with them who have the ultimate power to unite the nation! To my kudos and Roohi, you flourish in this new India and you take this country to new heights with everything you do and stand for. We will be successful,” he said.
Kareena, on the other hand, revealed that her elder son Taimur spent time with Saif, producing a concert from recycled paper. Saif and Taimur turn a waste cardboard box into a concert stage and create rock band members using waste paper and Lego. The couple’s younger son Jeh also tried to help them.
Karina shared an Instagram reel set against the Start Me Up track by The Rolling Stones and wrote, “This #IndependenceDay, we tried to make … and we made Tim’s first Rock Band stage, made from recycled paper Reuse, Recycle, Be Free…”
