Kareena Kapoor Khan reacts to Twitter trend boycotting ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’, says “You have to learn to ignore certain things” – Times of India

Netizens are quick to form an opinion on social media and recently called for a boycott Aamir KhanUpcoming release ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’. Aamir Appealed to netizens not to react so strongly and her co-star Kareena Kapoor Khan agreed that opinions are rising but they have to learn to overcome.

When asked by netizens on social media about shelving a film, Kareena said that because of accessibility, today everyone has a voice. “There are different platforms. Everyone has an opinion. So now, if this is going to happen, you have to learn to ignore some things. Otherwise, living your life will become impossible. And that’s why I don’t take any of it seriously,” Kareena told India Today. The actress further added that if a film is good, the response will be good and it will surpass anything.

Speaking about the #BoycottLaalSinghChaddha trend on Twitter, Aamir had shared, “He should boycott Bollywood… Boycott Aamir Khan… Boycott Laal Singh Chaddha… I feel sad too because so much People who are saying this in their heart, they believe it. I am the one who doesn’t like India… in their hearts they believe so… and it is absolutely untrue. I do… I am like that. It is unfortunate if some people feel that way. I want to assure everyone that it is not so, so please don’t boycott my films, please watch my films.” The boycott was called after an old interview of Aamir Khan went viral, in which he said that his ex-wife Kiran Rao had suggested relocating countries because of “growing intolerance”. After a major controversy that started with this statement, Aamir clarified that he did not mean that he wanted to leave the country or that India was intolerant. Sticking to his statement, Aamir had told PTI, “I was born here and I will die here.”
