Kareena Kapoor, in an episode of Mansi Zaveri’s upbringing parents, She opened up about her son Taimur’s bedtime routine and revealed that she gets “annoyed” when he wakes up late. Kareena said that Saif Ali Khan is more generous with Taimur and sometimes, even insists that he stay after his bedtime so that they can watch children’s movies together or spend more time together. “The only thing I think I’m very finicky about sleeping. I guess it’s something I’m not ready to push for much. I get annoyed because Saif sometimes, during the lockdown. Also, he’s like ‘No, no, let him go’. Wait, let’s go see a movie. Let’s see the Avengers, now they’re going through that phase or let’s watch an action movie, and I’m like, ‘No, no, no, he has school tomorrow and it’s online’. So this is something Saif is generous with,” added the actress.
She said: “He (Saif) is like, ‘no no no‘I haven’t seen him, let him be half an hour more.’ I’m like, ‘No, he has to go to bed’ because obviously, timing is bad. And I hope, now with Jah, I’m going to try to control it. I want the kids to get 12 hours of sleep.”
Talking to Mansi Zaveri, Kareena Kapoor Shared how she divides her time between her two sons. The actress said that she and Saif believe in “involving” their children to take part in their lives. “I divide my time well. As I know Taimur needs me right now. You know I’m lucky he wakes up later than Jah now so I know I need him for that hour. Will have to be with Jeh while he’s having her breakfast and then once Jeh has breakfast, I know it’s time for Taimur,” said Kareena and added: “So, I balance it. The idea is not to put too much pressure on doing things. The idea is to involve kids in their daily lives. It’s not like we have to do this and we have to do that. We’re that kind of parent. are not.”
Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan welcomed their second child Jeh in February this year. The two got married in 2012 after dating for a few years. Taimur was born in December 2016.
