Karnataka Congress posted the message of peace after Operation Sindoor, then removed it and deleted it between backlash

Bengaluru/New Delhi: In Karnataka, the Congress party faced criticism for a social media post on Wednesday morning, which was calling for peace a few hours after Operation Sindoor-Indian airstrikes on terrorist goals in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK).

Karnataka Congress posted X on X at 7.30 am on X in Kannada with a picture of Mahatma Gandhi, “Shanti is the most powerful weapon of mankind.”

The party was in a hurry to take the post down, but before it was widely shared on social media.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) hit the ruling party in Karnataka.

Leader of Opposition in Karnataka R. Ashok said, “If a missile falls in Pakistan, why is the Congress party sad in Karnataka? Operation Sindoor has embarrassed the Congress party,” the Leader of the Opposition in Karnataka R. Ashok, said. Posted on X,

Two weeks ago, the Congress was rednight even after the Pahalgam terror attacks, when several party members made statements which went against the party’s official line.

Even on Wednesday, while the Congress High Command appreciated air strikes by the Indian Air Force, senior party leader Rashid Alvi said that Pakistan needs to be “much better” response.

“It should be given a much better answer. This is bare minimum. Our army did what the Indian government asked for them to do, but again the question arises. Will every terrorist be killed? Will there not be another Pahgam?

Meanwhile, the Karnataka Congress Post criticized several other BJP leaders.

BJP MP from Karnataka Taur Singh Siroya said that the Congress party had double standards and was unable to control its “sleeper cells” in the state.
