Bhat, who is the chairman of the College Improvement Committee, said: “In view of the objections raised by six students to the uniform and dress code for girls in the Government PU College, we had written to the government seeking clarity on whether uniforms are required or not. Bhat said, ‘Now the order of the government is very clear that till the new expert committee appointed by the government takes a final decision, they should attend classes without wearing a head scarf.
