With a starting price of Rs 3.73 crore (ex-showroom), Kartik Aaryan becomes the first and only owner of a McLaren GT in India. Bollywood heartthrob has been gifted a supercar by T-Series boss Bhushan Kumar to celebrate the success of recently released film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani. The supercar was delivered to the actor by Infinity Cars, the official importer of the British supercar brand in the country. The McLaren GT Classic gifted to Kartik Aaryan is shaded in McLaren Orange, while the wheels are finished in Gloss Black and feature Azores calipers.
Infinity Cars shared the pictures on their Instagram account and the actor can be seen posing with Bhushan Kumar in his new car. Apart from McLaren, Kartik Aaryan also owns a Lamborghini Urus SUV. The McLaren supercar can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 3.2 seconds with a flat-out top speed of 325kmph. McLaren Automotive has fixed the ex-showroom price in India at Rs 3.73 crore.
The McLaren GT (GT for Gran Touring) is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine borrowed from the McLaren 720S and makes 620PS/612bhp at 7500rpm and 630Nm of peak torque at 5500-6500rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission with a pair of paddle shifters.
In India, McLaren GT competes with Lamborghini Huracan EVO RWD Coupe, Ferrari Roma, Aston Martin Vantage, Porsche 911 Turbo S, Ferrari Portofino.
