This year Karva Chauth is being celebrated today, Sunday, 24 October. The Krishna Paksha Chaturthi Tithi of Kartik month started at 3:01 am on October 24 and will be effective till 5:43 am on October 25. The timing of Chauth 2021 Vrat will be between 6:27 am to 8:07 pm on October 24.

The auspicious time to perform Karva Chauth Puja will be between 5:43 pm to 6:59 pm on October 24.

Women start the Karva Chauth fast with determination and keep the fast with full devotion and sincerity. The whole day goes without food and water. Later in the evening, Karva Puja is performed and the fast is broken after the sighting of the moon.
