Kaun Banega Crorepati 14 (KBC) aka KBC 2022 will premiere on August 7 and the first episode will see Aamir Khan on the hot seat. A promo of the first episode of the new season has been released online and features a prank on Aamir and Amitabh Bachchan.
In a promo, Aamir and Amitabh discussed the appearance of the Laal Singh Chaddha star on Twitter. Aamir admitted that he hardly uses Twitter and revealed that he only logs into the platform to promote his colleagues’ films.
“I was on twitter thanks to Amit ji, but I am not able to tweet anything, don’t know why. When my friends’ films released, I would tweet about them. I will not do anything else on stage,” explained Aamir.
“You have promoted so many movies on Twitter, can’t you promote KBC as well?” Big B asked him. Embarrassed at first, Aamir made a spectacular comeback. “KBC doesn’t need promotions,” he said, sulking Amitabh.
In another promo, Amitabh posed a video question to Aamir. Asked if he had seen the video, Aamir requested to watch it again. When Big B tried to raise the question, Aamir intervened and requested him to allow him to see the question once again.
After this Aamir stepped out of the hotseat and moved closer to the screen to watch the video properly. While walking, Big B teased him with his famous ‘Mr’. Perfectionist tag.
Major DP Singh, Colonel Mithali Madhumita, Mary Kom and Sunil Chhetri will also be seen along with Aamir in the premiere episode.
The actor is appearing on the show to promote his upcoming release Laal Singh Chaddha. The film is an official adaptation of the Hollywood film Forrest Gump and also stars Kareena Kapoor, Naga Chaitanya and Mona Singh.
