The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 205 registration process till February 24. Interested and eligible candidates can register by visiting the official website at kea.kar.nic.in. Earlier, the last date to register was February 21, 2025. The last date for submission of application fee for KCET 2025 has also been extended to February 25.

According to the official schedule, the exam will be held on April 16 and 17 in two shifts — from 10:30 AM to 11:50 PM and from 2:30 PM to 3:50 PM. The exam will be held in pen and paper mode. The KCET Kannada language exam will be held on April 18, 2025, at Bengaluru, Bellary, Bidar, Belgaum, Vijayapur, and Mangalore centres for outlying and bordering Kannadiga candidates. The exam consists of four subjects: physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics. Each paper carries 60 marks.

KCET 2025: Eligibility Criteria

B.Tech: Students must have passed PUC/12th class with Physics and Mathematics subjects. There is no minimum marks limit in 12th for any category of students.

B.Pharma: To apply for B Pharma, one must have passed the PUC/12th class from the Science stream (PCM or PCB). In this class, candidates of the general category must have 45% marks, and candidates of all other categories must have at least 40% marks.

B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture: Candidates must have passed 12th/PUC with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology subjects.

KCET 2025: How To Apply?

Step 1: Visit the official website — kea.kar.nic.in.

Step 2: Click on the KCET 2025 registration link. once available.

Step 3: Complete the registration process by entering the required details.

Step 4: Fill out the KCET application form 2025.

Step 5: Upload the required documents and pay the application fee.

Step 6: Submit the application form and print a hard copy for future reference.

KCET 2025: Application Fee

Candidates from general merit, 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 500 to register for the exam whereas the ones belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), and Scheduled Tribe (ST) must pay Rs 250 while filling out the application form. On the other hand, candidates originating from other states and not Karnataka are required to pay an application fee of Rs 750 whereas foreign candidates need to pay Rs 5,000 for the same.
