Greeting the people of Telangana on the occasion of the state’s formation day, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, or KCR, as he is fondly known, on Thursday praised the state for its rapid progress and progress.
Speaking at the Telangana Day celebrations in Hyderabad, KCR said, “If we analyze the progress and progress made in Telangana so far, the state had recorded progress and development which no state in our country has done in 75 years. could.”
He said that there was no comparison between the situation prevailing at the time of formation of Telangana and today’s circumstances.
“In economic development, increase in per capita income, free and quality electricity supply round the clock to all areas, creation of additional irrigation and drinking water, welfare of people, development in IT and industries and in almost all sectors, Telangana has become one.” Role model for the country,” the chief minister said.
Mr Rao had earlier said that the formation of Telangana has been possible because of the sacrifices of the people, and it has been created in that spirit.
He said that Telangana, which had fought for its identity and existence for 60 years, has reached the pinnacle of development.

Rao said that the Economic Survey of India in 2020-2021 also congratulated Telangana for its prudent financial management and financial discipline.
Elaborating on the state’s financial growth, KCR said, “When Telangana was formed in the financial year 2013-2014, the state’s GSDP was Rs 5,05,849 crore. This increased to Rs 11 by the financial year 2021-2022. 54,860 crores. The state government is ensuring that every penny is spent in a useful manner and capital expenditure is done in a planned manner, in order to increase the revenue. ,
“Telangana has also set a record of growth in per capita income. In 2014-2015, the state’s per capita income averaged Rs 1,24,104, while it was increased to Rs 2,78,833 in 2021-2022. This national The average is 86 per cent higher than Rs 1,49,848. Telangana’s per capita income is increasing day by day as compared to the national average.”
On the occasion of the state’s foundation day, the government released a 172-page ‘progress report’, highlighting the development works done to benefit the public.
