The Kerala High Court on Thursday posted an anticipatory bail plea of Malayalam actor-producer Vijay Babu in the sexual harassment case registered against him on June 7. A single bench of Justice Bechu Kurian Thomas has extended the interim anticipatory bail till Tuesday.
The court directed Vijay Babu to cooperate in the investigation and avoid tampering with the investigation. The court also directed them not to interact with or through any social or other media.
The court adjourned the matter to next Tuesday after the prosecution sought time.
Meanwhile, the police is interrogating Vijay Babu at the Ernakulam South police station for the second consecutive day in the case. It started at nine in the morning. Earlier on Wednesday, he was questioned for 9 hours.
