Kerala Plus One admission: 43,863 students get supplementary allotment

43,863 students have received supplementary allotment for Plus One Higher Secondary admission in Kerala.

In the first supplementary allotment results published on Tuesday, 72,808 out of a total of 73,350 applications were considered for allotment of 54,303 vacant seats. A total of 542 applications ineligible without option or for other reasons were not considered.

In Malappuram, which had 6,917 vacant seats, 7,069 allotments were made. These additional 152 allocations were made to the differently abled students who were given allocation to the schools given as the first option.

In Kozhikode, 5,342 seats were allotted against 5,417 seats, 4,356 against 4,264 seats in Palakkad and 4,887 seats against 4,052 seats in Thrissur. Kozhikode has the least number of vacant seats after the first supplementary allotment – 75. Both Palakkad and Wayanad have 92 vacant seats. Kottayam has the maximum number of vacant seats – 3,144.

The total number of vacant seats remaining after allotment is 10,440.

Considering the number of vacant seats in a district as one unit and according to the guidelines of reservation, the allocation was done in different categories.

Students who had not yet received the allotment or who could not apply despite applying during the main allotment phase of single window admission had time to submit their applications for supplementary allotment till September 3.

As per the supplementary allotment, the admissions will be held on 12th and 13th September. Those who have received the allotment must reach the school mentioned in the allotment letter from the supplementary allotment. Result link on Higher Secondary Admission website, pay fee and take admission.

The remaining school level vacancies after supplementary allotment will be published on 15th September for school/combination transfer allotment. Students who have taken merit quota admission under single window system can apply for transfer.

For school change within the district where students took admission, school change with subject combination change, or any other combination in the same school, candidates can apply online through the application for school/combination transfer link .

Another supplementary allotment will be conducted after school/combination transfer for those who have yet to secure an allotment despite having submitted their application.
