The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) instead of urging the Center to initiate action against the state government for diverting funds from 15 centrally sponsored schemes, turned a blind eye to the financial irregularities and attacks on workers of opposition parties in the state. Is. Public Accounts Committee (PAC) chairman and TDP leader Payyavula Keshav made the allegation.
At a press conference on Tuesday, Mr Keshav asked BJP leader Prakash Javadekar, who is participating in a ‘Praja Agraha Sabha’, to ask his party members for criminal cases being registered against opposition leaders. Asked to protest and question the YSRCP government. ‘Re-branding of central schemes’
“While ₹1.50 lakh is given to the beneficiary under PM Awas Yojana, ₹30,000 comes from MGNREGA, but it is being implemented as ‘Jaganna Awas Yojana’ by the state government without investing a single rupee. But the state BJP prefers to remain silent,” alleged Mr. Keshav. “It is surprising that the state BJP chose to support the Amaravati capital protest only after Union Home Minister Amit Shah spoke about it in Tirupati. Whether they are in the YS Vivekananda Reddy murder case or Narasapuram MP K. Raghu Ram is not questioning the stand of the state police and the government on the attack on Krishna Raju.
The TDP leader said it was too early for them to say whether they would forge an alliance with any other political party for the 2024 elections.
