We have plenty of reasons to love our warm and comforting bowl of instant noodles. From being a late-night savior to the best go-to quick dish, noodles, in all its forms have been a true delicacy for each and every one of us forever. With the recent advancements in the culinary landscape of the world, we have seen the humble noodles evolve every day – cup noodles, frozen noodles, dried noodles and soupy noodles to name a few. Most of the news that revolves around noodles these days has to do with how it’s eaten, or a weird dish made from it, right? However, everything we have today has to do with noodles but nothing more than eating it; Unclear? Let’s clarify. An Instagram video that quickly garnered 11 million views in a matter of days is being used to weave a bowl of noodles! Yes, you read that right; In this viral video, a man is weaving a long patch of noodles.

The video has been uploaded to Instagram by “@reelsemperor” and has garnered 11 million views, 368k likes and 6,059 comments. The video, originally uploaded by “@satisfyingmmiixx”, has created panic on social media. The video is titled “Noodle Knitting”; Check it out here:

The oddly satisfying video is leaving viewers by surprise. While it entertains one half of the audience, the other half is confused as to why would someone waste so much food and effort on this? Some commented saying that the woman weaving these noodles is bored and unemployed for wasting so much time. “Everyone has such a jobless job”, “How bored have to be”, “They were so bored”.
Some made witty comparisons to themselves like “all the time in the world reminds me of my lockdown days” and “My dad: stop playing with your food… I: *knit my noodles”.
And many were in support of woven noodles. Some of the comments left in support were – “the satisfaction of biting into that”, “I want to eat this, it tastes great like that oop”, “I kinda want to eat it”. Others were sure it would taste good and commented “Ngl that looks like it slapped with flavor”, “I’ll just do this so I can eat 1 big noodle” and “When they eat it’s a good thing.” would be the best texture”.
