Fahad came into limelight as a student leader when he, along with other students, opposed the institute’s decision to withdraw financial aid to SC-ST, OBC students eligible for Central Government post-matric scholarship. He is associated with the Maharashtra branch of the Samajwadi Party. Fahad Ahmed was born on 2 February 1992 in Behedi, Bareilly. He has done M Phil after graduation from Aligarh Muslim University.
