Voting in the first phase of Muradnagar assembly seat Uttar Pradesh Election 2022 On 10 February 2022.
The BJP has fielded sitting MLA from Muradnagar Ajit Pal Tyagi, while the RLD, which has an alliance with the Samajwadi Party, has fielded Surendra Kumar Munni. Vijender Yadav is the candidate of Congress and Ayuv Khan is the candidate of BSP.
Following is the complete list of candidates for Muradnagar Assembly seat along with details of their election affidavits analyzed by Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR):
Ajit Pal Tyagi, Bharatiya Janata Party
Ajit Pal Tyagi is a BJP MLA from Muradnagar seat. Tyagi, in his election affidavit, has mentioned the income from salary and allowances of the MLA and being a director of a company. He has not declared any criminal case in his affidavit. A graduate professional by qualification, the 48-year-old has declared total assets of Rs 9.4 crore and liabilities of Rs 1.1 crore. millionaire The candidate has movable assets of Rs 2.5 crore and immovable assets of Rs 6.9 crore. He has declared a self-income of Rs 22.3 lakh, taking the total income to Rs 29.8 lakh.
Surendra Kumar Munni, Rashtriya Lok Dal
RLD-SP candidate from Muradnagar Surendra Kumar Munni. The 66-year-old has declared income from pension and a criminal case in his affidavit. A graduate by qualification, Munni has a net worth of Rs 1.6 crore and no liabilities. His movable assets are Rs 12.5 lakh and immovable assets are Rs 1.5 crore. He has declared his own income as Rs 4.4 lakh and total income Rs 8.4 lakh.
Vijender Yadav, Indian National Congress
Congress candidate Vijender Yadav has declared no criminal case in his affidavit and declared business and agriculture as profession. The 54-year-old has listed class 12 pass as his qualification and has declared total assets of Rs 1.8 crore and no liabilities. His movable assets are Rs 66.4 lakh and immovable assets are Rs 1.2 crore. His own income is Rs 6.4 lakh.
Ayuv Khan, Bahujan Samaj Party
BSP’s Ayuv Khan is a Class VIII pass out and has declared business income in his affidavit. There is no criminal case against Khan. The 44-year-old has declared total assets of Rs 2 crore and liabilities of Rs 10 lakh. His movable assets are Rs 65.4 lakh and immovable assets are Rs 1.4 crore. His own income is Rs 4.6 lakh and total income is Rs 9.6 lakh.
Mahesh Tyagi, Aam Aadmi Party
AAP candidate Mahesh Tyagi is also 8th pass and has declared business and agriculture as his profession. According to the affidavit, there is no criminal case against Tyagi. The 59-year-old has declared total assets of Rs 2 crore and no liabilities. His movable assets are Rs 1.1 crore and immovable assets are Rs 95 lakh. He has declared a self-income of Rs 3.4 lakh taking his total income to Rs 9.1 lakh.
Rajkumar Tyagi, Vijay Bharat Party
Rajkumar Tyagi, 67, has interestingly mentioned ‘gau sevak’ as a profession in his affidavit. As per the affidavit, there is no criminal case against him against the 12th pass out. Tyagi’s net worth is Rs 38,740, which is all movable and nil liabilities. He has not declared any self-income.
Prerna Solanki, Nyay Party
43-year-old Prerna Solani has described business and social work as profession in her affidavit. The 12th pass out has no criminal case against him and has declared total assets of Rs 68.7 lakh without any liability. His movable assets are Rs 23.7 lakh and immovable assets are Rs 45 lakh. His own income is Rs 1.4 lakh and total income is Rs 20.5 lakh.
Manoj Kumar Sharma (Hodiya), Subhashwadi Bharatiya Samajwadi Party (Subhas Party)
Manoj Kumar Sharma is a lawyer by profession and has not declared any criminal case in his affidavit. The 46-year-old mentions post-graduation as his educational qualification and has declared total assets of Rs 1.1 crore and no liabilities. His movable assets are worth Rs 37 lakh and immovable assets are worth Rs 72 lakh. Sharma’s own income is Rs 5 lakh and total income is Rs 9.2 lakh.
Prabhat Kumar Sharma, Independent
In the election affidavit, Prabhat Kumar Sharma has described business as his profession. Class 12 pass has declared no criminal case and owns total assets of Rs 1.4 crore with zero liabilities. The 47-year-old has movable assets worth Rs 70.3 lakh and immovable assets worth Rs 70 lakh. His own income is Rs 9 lakh and total income is Rs 14 lakh.
Lalit Mohan Tyagi, Independent
Independent candidate Lalit Mohan Tyagi has mentioned agriculture as his source of income in the affidavit. The 31-year-old is a Class 10 pass out and has not declared any criminal case. His net worth is Rs 8.7 lakh, all movable and liabilities are nil.
The filing of nominations for 58 seats in 11 districts for the first phase of Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections began on January 14. Of the 58 assembly seats to be held in the first phase, nine seats are reserved for scheduled castes. Voting for 403 assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly will be held in seven phases till March 7. The counting of votes will take place on March 10.
The eleven districts where polling will be held in the first phase are Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Mathura and Agra.
In all, 2,27,83,739 voters – 1,23,31,251 male voters, 1,04,51,053 female voters and 1,435 third gender voters – will exercise their franchise at 25,849 polling stations located in 10,766 polling stations in the first phase.
