Frenzy fans of Kannada star Kichha Sudeep created a ruckus in some cinema halls across Karnataka on Thursday as his latest film debuted. Cotigobba-3 Couldn’t hit the screen as announced.
Worried over the violence, filmmakers Soorappa Babu and Sudeep, in separate video messages, appealed to fans not to vandalize theatres, and said the film will release on Friday.

Eagerly waiting for the first show of the film, Sudeep’s fans queued up outside cinema halls in many parts of the state in the morning.
To his dismay, he learned that the film would release only on Friday.
Some fans got angry and broke the iron gate of a cinema hall here and also pelted stones.
After the news of violence in some cinema halls of the state, Babu said, “…my film”. Cotigobba-3 Couldn’t be released today because I was cheated. There are many reasons.. Some people have conspired against me. The film will release tomorrow at 6 am. Please excuse me. None of this is my fault.”
Urging his fans not to vandalize theaters and maintain peace, Sudeep said, “I saw Babu’s video message. I know very well who conspired against you (Babu). Only time will give an answer to them (Babu’s opponents).
Cotigobba-3 It also stars actors Madonna Sebastian, Aashika Ranganath, Shraddha Das and Aftab Shivdasani. Shiva Karthik is the director and Arjun Gyan has composed the music.
