Union Minister of State for Fisheries and Dairy Development L. Murugan on Sunday asked BJP leaders to give wide publicity to the welfare schemes launched by the Centre.
The minister addressed BJP leaders Attada Ravi Babaji, Paidi Venugopalam, Pudi Tirupati Rao, Sevena Umamaheswari, Pedada Suryakumari, G. Spoke to Bhagya Lakshmi. He suggested them to highlight the benefits of central schemes during village visits.
Mr. Murugan participated in a ‘Go Puja’ at the Gayatri Educational Society, where he was received by the society’s president, Girijala Swami Naidu.
The Union Minister said that cows are an integral part of Indian culture. Shri Swami Naidu showed him the Koti Gayatri Stupa.
Later, Mr. Murugan visited the NER School of Excellence at Ranasthalam and interacted with the students.
