These lanes are out of bounds for other vehicles between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m., but are open to all vehicular use from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.
points of concern

According to sources, places like ITO and Azadpur have become a matter of concern. Right now this campaign is in its first phase.
“The idea is to ensure that lane discipline is established among all road users. It will also help in identifying problem points and junctions where buses bunch up so as to face the resultant congestion,” said Ashish Kundra, transport secretary-cum-commissioner.
“In the next few days, we will get data on junctions which are challenging and Street Where bunching is caused either due to issues related to the design of the road or where, for example, some construction is going on. One solution that the department is considering is to time the deployment for buses plying on congested routes,” Mr. Kundra said.

The official said that buses are not flagged off and prosecution is done on the spot to avoid overcrowding.
