Late night police force in Razing, Saini Sarkar transferred 55 IP, HPS officers. A look at major appointments

Chandigarh: In an important shake-up by the state police force, the Haryana government reshuffled 42 Indian Police Services (IPS) and 13 Haryana Police Service (HPS) officers late on Monday night.

The step affects more than one third of 118 IPS officers of the state, besides five under-training officers, affecting major positions in districts, range and commissioners.

Major appointments and transfer

The 1996 batch IPS officer, Additional Director General of Police Mama Singh has been assigned dual responsibilities as ADGP/IRB, Bhondsi, Gurugram, and Adgp/Crime, Panchkula.

Dr. Matta Ravi Kiran has been posted in the Karanal range, replacing ADGP, Hisar Range, Koldeep Singh (2007 batch) from the 1996 batch.

ADGP Krishna Kumar Rao (1996 batch) has been transferred from Rohtaka range to Hisar range, while Y. Purana Kumar (2001 batch) is taking over as Inspector General of Police, Rohtak Range.

In the major commission shift, Sibash Kabiraj (IPS, 1999 batch) has been appointed as Police Commissioner, Panchkula, who accused Rakesh Kumar Arya (2003 batch). Kabiraj holds additional charge of IGP, State Crime Records Bureau and Cyber.

Rajshree Singh (IPS, 1999 batch) is the new Police Commissioner, Jhajjar, who is B. Shathesh replaces Balan (2004 batch), who go to IGP, IRB, Bhondsi.

Sangeeta Kalia (2010 batch), Deputy Inspector General, IRB Bhondsi have been posted as Joint Commissioner, Gurugram.

Pankaj Nain (IPS, 2007 batch), which has been paid additional fees as IGP, Ambala Range to Special Officer (Community Policing and Outreach) in the first Chief Minister’s Office.

Notable district -level transfer includes Superintendent of Police Ethics (IPS, 2013 batch) from Fatehabad to Kaithal, and security -1, CID, 1 Battalion, Haryana Armed Police, with additional command of Ambala, Loktaad Singh (IPS, 2014 batch).

Additionally, Bhupinder Singh (IPS, 2017 batch) has been appointed as SP, Panipat. SP Mayank Gupta (IPS, 2019 batch) has been transferred from Rewari to Sirsa, while Ajit Singh Shekhawat (IPS, 2017 batch) takes over as SP, Ambala.

Manbir Singh (IPS, 2011 batch) is the new SP of Bhiwani. Surender Bhoria (IPS, 2014 batch) is working as SP, Yamunanagar, Rajesh Kumar (IPS, 2014 batch), SP, NUH, Varun Singla (IPS, 2017 batch) Sp Palwal, and similarly.

Deepak Saharan (IPS, 2014 batch) has been appointed as SP, Haryana State Enforcement Bureau with additional allegations of HPUS vigilance, and SP, Cyber, Haryana, Panchkula.

Nitika Gahalaut (IPS, 2014 batch) handles as SP, Railways, Ambala, which is with its current role in the form of SP, SCRB. Nikita Khattar (IPS, 2018 batch) goes from SP, ACB to SP, Dabwali, while Medha Bhushan (IPS, 2019 batch) considers SP, ACB.

Among HPS officers, DCP Mukesh Kumar moves from crime and traffic, Panchkula to crime, Faridabad. Balajinder Singh is now SP, Haryana Police Academy, Madhuban. Bharti Dabas took over as DCP, Gohna, Sonipat.
