The Chief Minister of Assam was speaking at a program organized on the 97th birth anniversary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday asked BJP leaders and party functionaries to release their personal security officers (PSOs), saying “this is the culture of the Congress party”.
Mr Sarma, who also holds the home portfolio, said, “I will ask the state BJP president (Bhabesh Kalita) to influence party leaders to leave the PSO.”
As part of his address at a function in Guwahati on the occasion of India, the Chief Minister said, “There is no need for PSO. This is the culture of the Congress party. We do not face any threat to life as we have not done anything wrong.” Is.” Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s 97th birth anniversary.
“We don’t need PSOs to open the doors of cars, we have the power to open the doors. I was in the Congress party. I have a list of such practices under the patronage of the Congress party,” he said.
Referring to former Prime Minister Vajpayee, the Chief Minister said that his contribution to the development of Assam and the North-East region will always be remembered.
