Delimitation meeting

The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu fears that delimitation practice based on population will eventually result in loss of political power and bargaining power with the Center as far as money is concerned, completely unfair and without base in the absence of any basic data. When the Center has not announced and initiated the delimitation process, there is a non-availability of census data and no process has started by the Center, and, at the top, the Home Minister said that the southern states will not be affected, the meeting and the resolution passed by the Joint Action Committee are only a waste of drama and money on fair delimitation. The meeting only strengthens the notion that the meeting is to divert attention from scams and deteriorating law and order in the state.

Faith in India’s judiciary

The statement of a former Chief Justice of India is worrying (“Citizens are losing faith in the Indian judiciary, former CJI, Ramna, 23 March) says, because it highlights important issues – by losing faith in the judiciary from the citizens, to the language barrier to the language. After serving in the Supreme Court for a long time, someone would have expected that they will take steps to find solutions for some of these challenges during their tenure. Is.
