Lockdown in China’s ‘iPhone City’, Foxconn’s decision came after violent clashes

China (China) 6 million people are in the same city on Friday covid lockdown (Covid Lockdown) where the world’s largest iphone factory (Factory) is also there. Earlier, there were reports of clashes between the police and the luxuries of the property over salaries. Authorities have ordered residents of eight districts in Zhengzhou, Henan province, not to leave the containment zone for the next five days. Buildings have been cordoned off and declared high risk and checkpoints have been set up to stop traffic. There are only a few corona cases in this city. The order follows protests by hundreds of workers at Foxconn’s giant iPhone factory over working conditions and wages. Even on Friday, pictures of rallies being held here came to the fore.

Several workers left the plant on Thursday, taking 10,000 yuan ($1,400) from Foxconn. He said on China’s short videos Apoyin (Douyin) and Kuaishou (Kuishou) that the Taiwanese tech company is sending back many people who came after seeing their new recruits’ ads.
Many employees told that many people who had come to the factory after seeing vacant posts, are now stuck in quarantine hotels outside the plant.
