Facial hair buffs claimed to set a new world record for longest beard series during an event in Wyoming on Friday, reports the Casper Star-Tribune.
According to the newspaper, participants gathered at the Gaslight Social, a bar in Casper, where they stood side by side and clipped their beards together to form a hairy chain that measured 150 feet long. That’s more than double the Guinness World The record of 62 feet, 6 inches was set in Germany in 2007.
According to the Star-Tribune, people will have to have a beard at least 8 inches long to participate.
