Russian magician Alex Black, a regular performer in Chennai, is in town once again. dropped into the office of Hindu To show him some of his tricks.

A graduate of the Circus College in Russia, Alex is one of the few magicians who has adapted to technological advances. His shows usually combine aspects of holograms, mapping, and magic. “We have tried to weave some interesting special effects into some of the acts. Magicians have to adapt to the changing times like any other profession, ”says Alex.
His performance takes place every Saturday and Sunday (4 pm and 7 pm) at Mylapore Fine Arts Club, 45, Musiri Subramaniam Road, Chennai till 4 June. For details, call 7397389991.
