After fleeing a field, a bull has caused traffic chaos on Scotland’s busiest motorway in Glasgow. Police in Scotland warned motorists on the M8 highway to expect delays as a result of the incident. While the presence of the bull caused a traffic jam on the highway, its unique name caught the attention of people online.
On Friday, October 21, a bull named ‘Lover Boy’ approached the M8 near Junction 30 in Creighton. Road police officers near Glasgow Airport were called to the scene, but despite the name being on the tag, they could not get the boyfriend to move the boy.
In the picture, bulls are seen grazing on the side of the road. One can see the metal ear tag on which his name is written ‘Lover Boy’. The caption accompanying the picture of the bull on Twitter read, “Glasgow RP officers helping this bull that managed to stray onto the M8 near J30.” The caption read, “Despite calling its name on its tag, it was not accepting us and we are waiting for the assistance of a local farmer. There may be a delay in passing you for security reasons.”
It culminates with the punishing hashtag ‘nobulpleys’.
