Pilots of German airline Lufthansa will strike again this week, a labor union said on Tuesday, sparking a wage dispute that will further add to the heat of travel chaos.
It follows a strike last week that forced the cancellation of hundreds of flights.
Union Vereenigung Cockpit (VC) said the strike would affect pilots of both the passenger and cargo division of the airline, which is a group of more than 5,000 pilots.
Passenger pilots will strike on Wednesdays and Thursdays and cargo pilots from Wednesday to Friday.
The union is demanding a wage hike of 5.5% this year and automatic inflation compensation thereafter.
