Madhya Pradesh Board 10th, 12th Result Date and Time Declared

Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) The MP Board will release the class 10 and 12 results on April 29 at 1 pm, the board announced in an official statement. The results of both the classes will be declared by April 30 on the official websites of the board, mpresults.nic.in and mpbse.nic.in.

Once declared, candidates will need their roll number and date of birth to check the results. The original mark sheet will be sent to the schools from where the students will be able to collect it. MPBSE conducted the 10th examination from February 17 to March 12 and the class 12 examination from February 18 to March 10. Around 18 lakh students had appeared for the board exams conducted by MPBSE this year.

The MP Board evaluation process for class 10 and 12 started in early March. The work of improving the copies of 12th board has been completed to a great extent. As per reports, 1.30 crore copies have been evaluated by 30,000 teachers. After evaluation the mark sheet will be sent to the schools. To clear the board, candidates need to secure at least 30 per cent marks.

Why is there a delay in declaring the result?

Declaration of results is getting delayed due to error in class 10th and 12th question papers. MPBSE had earlier found some wrong questions in the combined six subject papers of both the classes. Most of the errors were from class 10 maths paper. Class 12 Chemistry paper also had some wrong questions. The MP Board has said that it will give grace marks to the students who attempt these wrong questions.

The board has decided to allot 80 marks for theory subjects and remaining 20 marks for practical and project tasks. For practical subjects, 70 marks will be given to theory part and 30 marks for practical assessment. The board has also changed the exam pattern this time.

Last year, the board had announced the exam results using the alternative evaluation method as the written exam was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. A total of 9,14,079 candidates appeared in class 10 exam and 6,60,682 candidates appeared in class 12 exam. MPBSE had recorded 100% pass percentage Last year which highest score by the board. In 2020, 8,93,336 candidates appeared for class 10th examination, out of which 62.84 per cent students passed the examination. Whereas 6,64,504 candidates appeared for class 12th, out of which 68.81 per cent passed the examination.
