The Health Department in its latest bulletin said that 7,142 new coronavirus positive cases have been reported in Maharashtra today, an increase of 1,035 as compared to Tuesday, while the death toll in the state has gone up to 92.
on Tuesday, Maharashtra 6,107 new covid cases were registered and 57 deaths occurred. With this, the total infection of Maharashtra has gone up to 78,23,385.
A total of 20,22 people have been cured of corona virus, taking the number of people who have recovered to 75,93,291. The health department said that till date, there are 82,893 active cases in the state.
No new cases of the Omicron type of virus were reported today. The mortality rate due to corona virus in Maharashtra is 1.83 percent and the recovery rate is 97.06 percent.
5,78,076 people are in home isolation and 2,396 are in institutional quarantine.

Mumbai recorded less than 500 COVID-19 cases for the third consecutive day today, the latest bulletin of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said today. India’s financial capital detected 441 new cases, taking its total to 10,52,617.
A total of nine people died due to COVID infection, which is increasing since yesterday when only one death was reported. The total number of people who died due to this has increased to 16,676.
