Patil told that Relekar had gone out with his friends at around 9.30 am on Tuesday. When he did not return home, his mother started questioning him. Patil said, “On Thursday we detained a 23-year-old man for questioning. During continuous interrogation, the man revealed that Relekar was murdered and the body was dumped in the river at Shelpimplegaon.”
Meanwhile, a team of Anti-Goonda Squad took four minors into custody. “The minor revealed that after taking Relekar with him on Tuesday night, he died in Moshi area. His body was taken to Shelpimplegaon and dumped in the river,” Mane said.
