Maharashtra orphan passes NEET, secures admission in medical college

A girl living in an orphanage in Maharashtra has set an example of patience and determination by clearing the pre-medical entrance exam and getting admission in a medical college. Thane Collector Rajesh Narvekar appreciated the efforts of the 18-year-old girl student and felicitated her on Monday.

The girl, who has been living in an orphanage here for the last four years, has recently given clarification. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) And took admission in Government Medical College, Aurangabad. According to an official release, Narvekar assured them of all possible help from the district administration and said that they should not hesitate to approach them if they require any assistance.

The collector also said that there is a need for more doctors in Ambernath and neighboring areas of Thane district, and expressed hope that after passing out from the college, the girl would serve patients in the area.

During this, Notification for NEET 2022 is expected to be released this month by National Testing Agency (NTA). The exam is likely to be held in June. Once released, the application forms will be available on the official website nta.neet.nic.in. The exam may have internal choices like last time. Every year around 15 lakh students take the medical entrance exam.
