Latur: Three students of a school in Maharashtra’s Latur were on Monday caught allegedly cheating during the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) English exam, while two teachers were found using mobile phones. An officer gave this information. He said the students were not allowed to complete the paper and the teachers were issued notices to explain their conduct.
He said the incidents came to light when Education Officer (Primary Section) Vandana Futane and Education Officer (Secondary Section) Nagesh Mapri inspected two schools in Deoni tehsil to see how examinations were being conducted in the district.
The official said Latur district has 149 examination centers and 29 flying squads do rounds daily to ensure that no malpractices take place.
