Police said that the accused has been identified as Rajesh Bhoiro Alias ​​Raju alias Lanky 47 and his partner Suraj Pawar 38 are both residents of Dombivli.
The officer said that the complainant had bought a piece of land and was building buildings on it. The accused started complaining against the purchase of land from 2016-2017. Police said that the accused demanded Rs 2 crore from the complainant and after negotiations it was reduced to Rs 23 lakh. “They had accepted Rs 2 lakh and were asking for the rest amount. The complainant registered a case and on Saturday the accused was implicated red-handed for taking Rs 11 lakh.
After registering a case with Vishnu Nagar police, the accused were produced in the court from where they were sent to police custody till Wednesday.
