Mahashivratri Special: Try This Healthy Makhana Smoothie Recipe by Nutritionist Taapsee Pannu

Today Mahashivratri is being celebrated with great enthusiasm. On special occasions, devotees worship Lord Shiva and observe a day’s fast and seek blessings. And apart from the traditional dishes that are usually preferred on this day, many people look for healthy and easy-to-cook options that can keep them full for a long time. On occasions like these, what could be better than an indulgent smoothie? Taapsee Pannu’s nutritionist Munmun Ganeriwal recently shared a good fast-friendly recipe Makhana Smoothies that strike an excellent balance of health and taste.

In the caption, he said,Makhana It is a great source of resistant starch (RS) which will keep you satiated for a long time. So, if you are someone who finds it difficult to fast due to frequent hunger pangs, then this recipe is for you, she said. Apart from this, the nutritionist also revealed that this smoothie is healthier by combining nuts, raisins, seeds and milk together. It is not only high in nutrients but also in taste.

Component

1) Roasted Makhana – 1 cup

2) Roasted Peanuts – 2 tbsp

3) Almonds – 2 tbsp

4) Nut milk – 1 glass

5) Honey to taste

6) Soaked raisins and mixed seeds (for garnishing)

How to make this delicious Makhana smoothie?

1) First of all take a jar and put the ingredients in it one by one. Add roasted makhana, roasted peanuts, almonds and almond milk. Now, all you have to do is blend them all into one smoothie.

2) Take it in a glass and add some honey as per your requirement. Ideally, you can take a tablespoon of it.

3) Here comes the last step of garnishing. For this, take soaked raisins and mixed seeds and your work is good.
